The ECI

As an applicant using the ECI website, you have the right to cancel your application within seven days of your application date. Where you cancel your application you will have your payment less the WorldPay charges refunded electronically to your credit card. You will be notified by email that the ECI has accepted your cancellation.

In the case of an applicant failing to gain accreditation at the level for which they have applied, the ECI will either award a lower accreditation level or inform the applicant what they will need to do in order to meet the accreditation criteria and postpone accreditation until the accreditation criteria have been met.

Where the ECI postpones accreditation the applicant may be requested to pay additional accreditation application fees, where meeting the accreditation criteria involves the ECI in further processing.
